  •  I have Medicaid (0+ / 0-)

Which I pay for from the paycheck of both jobs.  It is automatically subtracted from my take-one pay.  I estimate I pay a minimum of $40-$50 per month, but that's for Medicaid and it is woefully insufficient compared to a gold standard provider like Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

When you factor in doctor visit, co-pays and prescription drug, that cost probably gets closer to $75-$80 a week.  Anyone who has had to subsist on Medicaid alone knows that it is barely sufficient for prescription drugs, and downright ineffective for all other care.  It is only through luck that I found a specialist willing to take Medicaid because it pays at such a low rate and often so delinquently.
