    That really is funny.  I've read that there's a battle within the Clinton camp over whether to keep pushing her "experience", or to push her gender as a selling point for the presidency.  Given that the vast majority of the senator's experience is representing big business interests, failing on health care reform in the '90s, and authorizing military force against Iraq when every indication was there that the shrub would abuse it, I don't think the experience meme works.  And as for promoting the gender issue, here's why that doesn't work: we've never had a slug as president.  Does that mean we should run and elect a slug?

      Clearly, the people who want to push the experience angle are doing so through their own (illegal, btw) 527. The problem is that they're trying to cast Obama as just speeches, and that blows up in their faces as soon as the Obama campaign starts pushing his actual achievements.

      I'm not sure what she can do at this point. Campaigning doesn't seem to be helping her much.
