...with his wife's campaign, which has run itself aground financially, proved itself incapable of putting an on-the-ground strategy in place in the majority of the 50 states, has been unable to find a message that resonates with the American people, and generally appears to be in disarrary.

Not exactly a formula for instilling confidence.

    •  He's been yelling at Mark Penn for months (0+ / 0-)

by anecdote and press reports.  He really is more interesting than his wife.

      •  Interesting or not, if HRC lacks the judgment (0+ / 0-) control this better -- and fire Mark Penn -- there's really nothing to recommend her to the party, in my estimation. Mark Penn is the new Rumsfeld.

I just wasn't interested in you tarring Bill because of Hilary and/or campaign.  Bill hasn't been the most admirable in these three months, but that doesn't detract from the accomplishments he did do, although there are many who will smarm about what he didn't get done even though they did little to get a Democratic Congress.  In Bill's administration you could afford to send two kids to college rather than only one.  We had a good economy, Bill jawboned and twisted arms for that like all hell.  After seven years it's probably lost on a lot of people what that was like.

      •  I think they are equally interesting myself. (0+ / 0-)

Interesting how sure-things so often aren't. If the nominating process were finished, and the general was next month, this would surely be among the most interesting political seasons ever.
