Is that the first Obama campaign comment on the whole issue came 6 days after the New Hampshire flap.

In the meantime it was the netroots, bloggers, media pundits and the like who picked up on the tone and the implications... NOTHING came from the Obama camp and to insinuate that they drove this story is utter bullshit. You can go back on any news source or blog and read all the statements and comments that filled the air around that time.

So don't start rewriting history because it would me it easier to your point.

It was not only the netroots, but the black netroots and black talk radio that started picking up on the muslim emails, the Shaheen and Kerry flaps, and the MLK/LBJ comments.  The outrage came organically from the black community - it wasn't something manufactured by the Obama campaign.  And guess what?  If that much of the black community was offended by the actions and words of the Clinton campaign, then there must have been racism there.  As a non-black person, you DO NOT have a right to tell black people what should or should not offend them.
