    if you apply the same standard, is really the only marginally effective counter-attack the campaign has had since things started going south on them. You heard it again last night in the debate, when she used it for an applause line.

    Maybe the day will come when we just vote for a resume, or when voting will be like computer dating on the Internet. Until then, the identity of the candidate does figure in the subjective evaluations made by voters. Campaigns that don't respect that, such as the Clinton camp when they reached South Carolina, make that decision at their own peril.

      MSNBC even commented last night that she's been milking the "woman card" now for last year.

      Meanwhile, I've never heard once Obama say, this race is historic, as the first African-American president, sea-change, blah blah. No.  You haven't heard it once.
