    how many years, or decades it's going to take the US to be able to address the rest of the world about the rules of law without being laughed out of the room.

    I guess it's a good thing you have thousands of nukes. After 7 years of this crap, it's probably the only thing that keeps the States standing on the world's stage.

      Essentially the entire executive branch can't be prosecuted for crimes since prosecution is in their branch. Only choices are defunding agencies, and impeaching POTUS and VP.

      If you're not willing to do those, they seem to me to be totally immune.

        to treat government officials as immune unless they do something way, way outside their assigned responsibilities. If caught, the senior executives feign ignorance, and it's a miracle if you can find documentation to prove otherwise, because they're so adept at avoiding paper trails.
