experts to back up our new President.  He cannot do it alone, and he knows it.  That's part of why he says WE so much.

It IS going to be hard work for a long time to restore good governance. Detail after slogging detail.

Bottom to top and top to bottom. And if it takes more hands than can be hired, throw data up online and let us help scour thru it.

The powers that be don't know how the Internet works. From Ted "tubes" Stevens to even Hillary and her handlers (their "internets exploded" when they were collecting donations), who should know better. These fossils don't know how to use the Internet to their, and our, benefit. Why can't those in our government, making much more $$$ than we joe six-packs, learn to use it? Are they just "playing" stupid? The verbiage used by the republicans and even some of our own, when it concerns the web, sounds so ignorant as to be almost a joke. Why can't they catch up and get themselves into 2008? We could help, if they would get an education and get it together.

Eliminate the electoral college NOW. One person, one vote. No more middlemen!

        nowhere.  Future v past.

I admit to being an "old fart" who resisted computermania. I gave in when I desperately needed to search public records at courthouse  -- and couldn't because they'd been computerized.

I protested to bureaucrat that I was being excluded from PUBLIC records.  That as a college graduate and former reporter who used to know how to obtain data --- I still couldn't understand their "instruction" page.  "Ageism" -- I harangued. So they sent me to a clerk who could run me thru it one time and I never "locked up" the public access pc again. (And they rewrote instructions to be a tiny bit clearer.)

Some of us get snitty at having to absorb EVEN MORE new stuff that outdates perfectly good stuff we worked hard to learn and were good at. But, I even learned how to make the vcr clock stop blinking 12:00, 12:00, 12:00.  No more hunting down a "lawn boy" to fix it.  LOL
