And don't forget that Senator Clinton has never been a favorite of the progressives who have always been a supermajority here.  She never polled much out of the single digits in 2007 straw polls.  Had she run a different sort of campaign, she'd get more respect here.  But she went from playing the Inevitable card straight to the Experience card to SC race-baiting, red-state caucus-dissing, educated-voter dismissing, and terror fear card-playing.  I have always admired her intellect and work ethic, but I despise the tactics her campaign have been displaying ever since her New Hampshire win.

The latest -- that they may try to sue the Texas Democratic Party over its primary/caucus rules -- is simply pathetic.  And the latest spin from Mark Penn -- that Obama has to win handily on Tuesday to show he's really the frontrunner, is sad.  Actually, Mr. Penn, all Obama has to do to show he's the frontrunner is point to the delegate totals come Wednesday morning.  Anything else is so much backwash in my sodapop.  On the other hand, if Clinton can manage to string together a bunch of close losses in the next few primaries, she'll be demonstrating tangible improvement over the previous eleven contests, and she'll be in excellent shape to finish, um, second in the nomination battle.

    •  Bingo. Just worn out from all her campaign BS. (2+ / 0-)
