    The straw poll that was held in Michigan was not sanctioned or recognized by the national party... so there really was no Democratic Primary in Michigan.

    So they are free to hold something, likely caucuses but more likely nothing, as long as the DNC approves it.  They could easily use their caucus plan for Feb. 9, already approved by the DNC, and just change the date.

    But the heavyweight Democratic politicians in this state (Granholm, Levin, Stabenow) are likely to prevent that.  They are still even spinning about how choosing to break DNC rules with the Jan. 15 primary was "the right thing to do" and that it "made a difference".  

    "Made a difference"?!  This is our US Senators, on drugs....
