That's nuts. Starting out with 229, and only needing to win a measly 40 electoral votes to win the presidency isn't doing well? Making places like ND and AK competitive isn't doing well? I mean we're talking about Alaska and North Dakota here. I believe Obama could win South Dakota. Running far ahead in a place like Colorado (a new must-win state for us) isn't doing well?

Give me a break. Obama's performance is as good as anyone could expect at this point. He has landslide--good landslide--potential written all over his candidacy.

      I was talking about Washington.

I'm no Hillary fan, but you guys are the same people who ignored everyone's warnings about Ohio and lived in your "Obama will put her away in Ohio and Texas" mentality.

If Obama can get 47 pct of the white vote in the state of Georgia ( I do not expect GA to be competitive in November due to the pocket of wingnuts there ) but still..anything is possible.

An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.

who could be as much as 18% of votes in the dem primary in TX and see what pictures emerges. Among democrats, Obama BURIED her. And that was in face of all the smears.
