  •  Not with Jim Webb as VP! (0+ / 0-)

Which I'm pretty sure will help elsewhere in addition.

    •  Hillary/Webb ticket?? (2+ / 0-)

I've heard no discussion of this.

However, the bloom is off Mr. "We will show him the way"'s rose due to many of his recent votes.

He is in danger of becoming a Senate Blue Dog.

The reason: the blacks will stay home if she destroys the party in Denver and then places a white guy on the ticket with her. They'll say, "Fuck you Democrats, try to win without us," and we'll be crushed. The things that have been done in this primary will never be forgiven by many. In addition to VA, you can kiss PA, OH, MI, and maybe even IL goodbye with a Clinton/Webb ticket.

      •  Again I object to PA (0+ / 0-)

to being included ( and I am a strong Obama supporter but I say that regarding Clinton as well), PA has not gone Red in a Presidential election for 20 years.

      •  So, she has to pick a black guy? (0+ / 0-)

So if Obama wins, he has to pick a white woman or risk pissing off the millions of them that are voting for Hillary?  Nice logic...

      •  I Agree (0+ / 0-)

Hillary cannot pick a typical white male VP after Obama's run....I can assure black voters will be pissed and they are the most loyal DEM voting bloc.

Remember Kathleen Kennedy Townsend's ( a Hillary supporter) loss in 2002 Maryland governor's race.  She has the advantages in this strong DEM state but she picked a GOP white male running mate and pissed off the substantial and critical black voters who were hoping for a black Lt. Governor.  She lost to GOPer Bob Erlich who did pick a black Lt. Gov.

O'Malley didn't make that bad mistake in 2006 and he won fairly big.
