    COUNT FLORIDA VOTES!
This year, over 3.6 MILLION Floridians voted for their choice for president in the primary. None of those votes will count, however. The Democratic National Committee along with the Republican National Committee who are both trying to keep control over the nominating process, is wrongly punishing Florida's voters. The DNC has ruled that NONE of Florida's votes count in the Democratic Primary while the RNC has decreed that only HALF of Florida's votes will count in their primary. Florida's voters had nothing to do with the date of their primary, their only "mistake" was to exercise their Constitutional right to vote. 1 person, 1 vote is a tenet of the Voting Rights Act of 1962, an act we believe is being violated by both parties.

By signing this petition, you are urging Florida's elected leaders, as well as members of the Democratic and Republican National Committees, to find a solution to this problem NOW. Weare in a historic race for our nominee, and yet Floridians--all 3.6 million of them---do not have a voice. Its important to know that there ARE options. The legislature can up the ante on the DNC and RNC with state rules, including forcing them to reimburse taxpayers for the cost of the primary. There are possible
