  •  I don't know enough about the details (0+ / 0-)

    of the other races on the ballot in texas to know what may or may not have affected voters' desire to vote in those races, and I'm almost certainly not going to have the time to learn enough about it to be able to know what may have influenced voters to vote more for the Pres race than for the other races on the respective ballots. But on the face of it, 5% and 1% seems far from a "huge" difference, and even then you rely on a link from what the Texas Sec of State reports and the opinion about that of one Kathryn Jean Lopez. It's a lot of conjecture being offered as fact. And it is boring.
