  •  I was talking about low hanging fruit (0+ / 0-)

    for the primary.

Can you people read at all?

For BO, the purplish states you mention were low hanging fruit for him in the primary, since HRC originally, as I understand, wasn't planning on doing much in these states.  Did you read that word 'primary' in the previous sentence?  I was talking about typical dem strategy in the primary.

I wasn't talking GE at all.

Furthermore, you talk as if HRC's plan for the GE is already determined.  I think it's safe to assume that it is not, since campaigns change their direction almost on a daily basis.

And Colorado [and other purplish states] will not be low hanging fruit for either party in the GE--they will probably be strongly contested.

the word "primary" does not appear in the post I was responding to.

the whole point of this diary is that her campaign says certain states and voters don't count because Dems aren't likely to carry those states in the GE.

but taking you at your word for a minute that you did mean the primary:  HRC certainly seemed to put up quite a fight in Missouri and Virginia and Wisconsin--so how were they low hanging fruit?  and Texas wasn't low hanging fruit for her, because she lost the delegate battle there.

keep moving those goalposts--it's all HRC has left.

Politics is like driving. To go backward, put it in R. To go forward, put it in D.
