Did I miss the memo or any other evidence that the Clintons "darkened Obama in that video"?

Because if there is no evidence then all the accusations are nothing but unsubstantiated crap. The same type of crap that used to get called out on this site, not generated by it.

If there is no proof that it was intentional it is only what some would call, opinion. And everybody has one of those. What has been done here is perpetuate a story, that some feel were advantagous to their side, nothing more.

Like I don't have the good sense that God gave me. Are you confused?

You honestly, honestly think you can convince someone that all of the race-baiting that's been going on has been accidental?

I couldn't very well 'accidentally' call someone an asshole, and Hillary Clinton cannot accidentally disrespect and marginalize an entire community, and the most loyal Democrats at that.

You get no respect from me, trying to cover for that mess. Or maybe you thought I was someone who'd be impressed by Bob Johnson? Please.

Was it race baiting to have Oprah go to S.C. and refer to a Obama as "the one" that they had been waiting for?

It has been fomented by both sides, anyone that fails to admot that is being less than honest.

Again you can think you "know" the motivations behind every action taken by all people or campaigns, but without proof it is nothing but opinion. No matter how vile you think someone is, it accomplishes nothing when the only goal is to destroy their character.

Also let me offer a little advice, though it hasn't been asked I feel I should.

You have no idea who I am, or anything about me. When the first thing that comes into your thinking is to start subtly accusing me of being some type of racist, then you are the one with the problem not me. This is the exact type of behavior that has prompted longtime thoughtful and productive members of this site to call into question what is happening here. Why people wonder what happened to the "community".

Just something to consider when responding to people you have no idea about.

        •  I don't believe you are capable, or willing (0+ / 0-)

to have an honest conversation with me. My absolute disgust with Hillary's tactics, is absolutely justified. And there are many, many who feel like I do.

And you will never reach people who feel like me because your words ring hollow. They lack the force of authenticity and truth, and are merely variations on a theme. Do not talk about race.

          •  What exactly (0+ / 0-)

Would you like to talk about?

I realize that you may not be versed in how the interaction on this site used to work. Just six months ago if you had posted the comment you did without proof that "Hillary darkened Obama", you would have called out and vehemently challenged on spreading false information, possibly had your comment hidden.

Again you assume that I don't want to talk about race. This may come as a surprise to you but, your responses to my comments are not discussing race, they are accusatory remarks of me being racists. That in and of itself does not foment conversation. If you had any idea who you were talking to, or anything about me, you would realize how utterly baseless those accusations were.

I not once have defended the Clintons or anyone associated with the Clinton campaign. I have already voted and I voted for neither one of the "historic candidates". I couldn't care less which one wins, just that at the end of the process we end up with a Democratic president.

That is the whole point of this, to get a Democrat in the WH. The devisivness and character attacks against candidates as well as other people involved in the process does nothing to accomplish that end.

So you take these comments however you like, just know, like Barack Obama says, "words do matter".

            •  you are MUCH too fragile (0+ / 0-)

and your fragility is causing you to tell a lie -- I never once accused you of being racist.

THAT is why some people cannot have conversations about race. Because the second you want to talk about a very serious matter that desperately needs to be discussed, fragile people internalize it, and make it about them.

              This is not about you.

You accuse me of making baseless allegations, while in your confusion you accuse me of calling you a racist, and yet you cannot show me where I did that. I never did that. I wasn't even making assumptions about your race.

And as for me not providing proof, I don't know what kind of game you're playing because the proof was on the front page of this web site. I'm quite sure you saw it.

              •  Just wondering (0+ / 0-)

Or maybe you thought I was someone who'd be impressed by Bob Johnson?

And please explain to me exactly what was meant by that statement? As I responded...

When the first thing that comes into your thinking is to start subtly accusing me of being some type of racist,...

Was I wrong? Then when I respond I get this...

And you will never reach people who feel like me because your words ring hollow. They lack the force of authenticity and truth, and are merely variations on a theme. Do not talk about race.

Tell me how that is having a conversation, please explain how those words lead to intelligent discourse.

Also, please do not everything what is put on the front page of this site as proof, although there is good work done here at times, just because someone publishes it here or any other place does not make it fact. There are numerous people who have contradictory opinions, some even are in the business of imaging.

                •  You accuse me of calling you racist, and then (0+ / 0-)

                  show me that? Huh?

I really, really don't understand that. But I'm not exactly enjoying this conversation with you, so I won't ask you to explain. Good luck supporting Hillary. Better you than me.
