http://www.dailykos.com/... that is our problem. That guy says he would take him over Hillary if she is nominated, and it is troubling.

I also started a diary about voting for the Democrat http://www.dailykos.com/... and there were actually people who voted for McCain in it, and tried to argue he'd be better than Hillary.

You've got one person saying they'll vote for McCain (who probably won't, on the "lying to get votes" disqualification grounds). And in your diary, you've got 3 anonymous votes for McCain - while there are plenty of actual Republicans reading this site and voting in its polls.

Your complaint is real. But I still don't see that it's anywhere near the magnitude that you're talking about. If it's real, it seems to be a pretty small, low priority problem. And, since people will say such things now in anger but not actually do them when Election Day comes around, I'm even less worried about its effect.

What I do worry about is what people are complaining is turning them off to Clinton, regardless of how they express their distaste. Clinton and every other Democrat should make that a high priority, because it really is doing damage to Democratic chances in the Fall.

And no, I'm not going to go to the effort of documenting it -- you can do a search as well as I can.  But anyone who's been reading Kos this election season has seen far too much of this self-destructive whining behavior.

And yes, I'm for Obama, and yes, after liking Clinton I have recently been dismayed by her scorched earth attacks on Obama, which simply play into McCain's hands.

But even so, I'd certainly vote for her over McCain, or any other Republican for that matter, and anyone who wouldn't should be ashamed.

Sorry, I don't accept assertions, especially counterintuitive ones that also defy my own experience, unless they're backed up with actual cited facts.

If it's too much trouble to back up such an argument, you don't have the right to make it. Or at least not to pretend it's actually an argument, rather than an assertion.

And you did notice it was tagged "troll diary," didn't you? Therefore, the mass opinion of this community is that he was out of line. You can always find a couple of crazy blowhards to say anything.

Look, I get that Hillary supporters are feeling a mite desperate but making sweeping claims that don't hold up comes across like whining. And saying it's ok to do ANYTHING to win, even something that damages your OWN chances of winning in November (as touting McCain's "commander in chief" bonafides does to HIllary) as well as your whole party, is just simply not true. Some "anythings'" are stupid and counterproductive. Promoting John McCain as better than the likely nominee of your own party is one of those things.
