  •  any tips on how to call? (6+ / 0-)

My friends and I are all latte sipping liberal elites of a younger generation who haven't used a so-called "land line" since 2000. Costs per minute are unfortunately far less generous for cell plans than traditional land plans. I was considering using Skype, but the tinny quality gives it a robo call vibe.

I am hoping some Obama offices are still open in NY and offering a place to phone. Anyone know if this is the case?

I've already donated money for the first time to a campaign, and this would be the first time I've gotten off my ass for a candidate rather than an issue. My wife and I are already planning a little road trip to PA next weekend for more registration action. Feels good!

Most cell companies will allow you to change your minute plan for a month or two.  I have done it on all the campaigns I worked on & then switched back - no problem.

It probably will only be about 20 or 30 bucks more a month.

Will you help me raise $1000 for Jay Nixon who is running for Governor of Missouri.

Check the website for days/times, etc. as well as other phonebanking that may be planned.  I am a phonebanking captain here and will be travelling to PA, too.  If your are planning a trip, please try to dovetail with a group that is also going.   It is easier on the campaign that way (preparation, canvassing lists, etc.) and you can offer transportation to other volunteers.  Plus, it's more fun with other supporters since we are a very exciting and interesting bunch :) Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions or for more info.
