      As the links show, the right wing is spending on the order of $75,000 each on alumni seat campaigns. They have politicized something that used to be a formality.

      You try that "this is America" patronizing and insulting crap again and you'll get the troll ratings you have earned.

        Think of what happened with the local public school boards that got taken over by creationists a few years back, simply because the majority of the electorate was asleep. At Dartmouth it's the same phenomenon. An activist group with an agenda has seen an opportunity to seize power while the majority of alumni have not been following the issues at all. All of this is happening in the name of the students, although current students have no say in these "democratic" elections.

        My handle is an old college nickname and does not endorse, advocate, or otherwise reflect any presidential candidate past, present, or future.
