We are not winning any hearts and minds in Iraq.

We are engaged in an illegal occupation, and our sons and daughters are called upon to prosecute this adventure however damn reluctantly.

Support?  Like McCain running from Jim Webb's bill, and why; is it because Jim is a Democrat?  Some help to our troops that is.

Congressman Berman, we are beyond worrying if they served well, for they have, all things considered. But they have been horribly misused and I refuse to allow those who fomented this criminal outrage to get away with it.

Congressman, you will either support war crimes investigations against the perpetrators of this outrage, or you will not.  Which is it sir?  There is no middle groud, and no third way.  You either support criminality, or you do not.

Support for our sons and daughters is not a part of this situation.  Their misuse is however.  Where do you stand sir?

Today, 3/30/08, 4007 Americans, and untold Iraqis are dead, tens of thousands more maimed. Bush lied, how soon before your family pays the price for that?

    •  My guess is Berman wants a clean sweep (0+ / 0-)

As do I. House, Senate, and Executive branch.

Obama for sure. He is not about bring this country down, he is about building it up.

      That takes time.

It will also take a majority in both the house and the senate.

62 Million Americans Voted for this ongoing mess and in 2006 some starting to see a very small part of the truth and that awareness is growing little by little as they are willing to TRULY look and listen. Many are still very sold on the SURGE but the real question becomes who are we really supporting and WHY?  This they simply do not know or even begin to understand. They simply know they do not want to cut and run. This would simply mean defeat to them and they can not and will not see that happen. This would mean they have been wrong.

Have you ever been wrong about anything?

No imagine being wrong about something on this grand scale?

All this while many feel they have taken the time to understand what TRULY really means, in my view they are simply way out in front of the average American on just what might really be going on in this very complex region. THIS BECAUSE IT MATTERS SO VERY MUCH. YES I UNDERSTAND THAT URGENT NEED.

However once you might learn the TRUTH then you must be able to have the rest of the country agree with your findings in great detail.

      THIS HAS NOT BEEN DONE...

      http://www.aarp.org/...

We The People, United for the Common Good, have much to do with regard to finding out what TRULY really means and sharing that insight.

I do not believe any of these so called leaders speak for the people there, just as I do not believe so called leaders associated with many countries TRULY speak for their people. Is it possible to be fooled by those who say they speak for the people? If it is possible for 62 Million to be fooled here, why would it not be possible to fool people in another country?

The people may not hate each other and the people may simply want peace. Is anyone really sitting down and talking to the people there? Is anyone in a leadership role TRULY making an effort to win hearts and minds?
