    I live in a similar suburban district in North Texas, TX-26, and have witnessed similar possibilities. No Democrat even bothered to run here in 2000.  When Tom DeLay strong-armed redistricting of Texas congressional seats, the 26th was thought to be a permanent seat for Republicans. We don't have a dynamic Democratic candidate like Skelly running here in 2008, but a strong grassroots effort led by Barack Obama at the top of the ticket could make it a contest - even here.
