One of the proudest, strongest, greatest democrats of all time could very well end up bowing out Bankrupt

I'll give you proudest and strongest, but I won't grant you greatest.

As far as bankrupt goes, that's usually the only time candidates end their candidacy. No matter how slim their chances, they'll usually stay in as long as they can afford to, right down to the very end.

There are a couple of problems here that need to be addressed. One is that Hillary's campaign is already bankrupt. She is now financing her campaign on the backs of the small businesses that she is refusing to pay. She is financing her campaign with their money.

The other problem is the negativity of her campaign. She has attacked Obama relentlessly. She has gone scorched earth. She is hurting his chances in the general even though she has already lost the nomination.

No, we haven't jumped the shark, the Clintons have.

Change you can Xerox. Print it. Read it. Copy it. Pass it on. Obama '08

So I'm baffled by diaries like this imploring Obama supporters to act like the primary contest is over, when it is far from over.  I have lost any respect I had for Hillary after watching her engage in such slimy, despicable scorched-earth tactics over the past few months, from blatant race-baiting and racially divisive tactics to praising the Republican nominee.  Hillary is fighting this contest tooth and nail, and we have to fight back just as hard.  That doesn't mean we have to get down in the gutter with her, but it also doesn't mean we shouldn't point out her lies, distortions and hypocritical stances at every turn.  As Bill Clinton said recently:

"If a politician doesn’t wanna get beat up, he shouldn’t run for office. If a football player doesn’t want to get tackled or want the risk of an a occasional clip he shouldn’t put the pads on."
