    say its the pension + the office perks OR exploiting the office to make money through "speeches" and "investments" but not both. It's insane for the federal taxpayers to be paying for Clinton's rent and office staff. IIRC, the practice of selling the office of the presidency began with Reagan, grew with George HW Bush, and really took off with Bill Clinton.

      Maybe Sen. Bernie Sanders can introduce a bill or something. I think the time to do it after Obama gets the nomination and before Bush leaves the White House.

      It's a good campaign issue for good government.
