    McCain was born in 1936.  When King started his work in 1953, McCain was 17 years old.  

    When King led the March on Washingotn in 1963, McCain was 27 years. When McCain was shot down in Vietnam in 1967, he was 31 years.

    What would the equivalent today be of someone who has been leading important civil rights (or other social justice) work for the past 14 years?  I'm hard-pressed to think of anyone which makes MLK's profile all that more outstanding.

      was guarding the Arizona polls from the non-white riff-raff who were trying to exercise their right to vote?

      Is it any surprise, then, that it took so long and possibly only because it was politically expedient?
