    But as a patriot, I've come to.

    Not for his lies.  Not for his injury to the economy and pandering to the wealthy.  Those disgust and revolt me. but I didn't hate him.  I reserve hate severely, it's a powerful, even poisonous thing.

    His attacks on the Constitution and the fundamental rights and freedoms of the people--that's what I came to hate him for.

    It has nothing to do with my politics.  I know at least one guy so far Right--politically and religiously--that we could find nearly no common ground.  But while he supported Bush in 2000, thinking he was God's gift to the nation, today... he hates him too.  For the same reasons.

    Real patriots hate George W. Bush.
