  •  We, the choir, need to get this preaching out. (11+ / 0-)

How exactly do we do this? I'm sure nobody here needs convincing that McCain is a sham.

My father, on the other hand, loves McCain and is not about to pick up this book. He'd just do the hands-over-ears la-la-la-la thing in the unlikely event that the MSM covered it, or let its message start to leak into their canned "maverick" narrative.

How in god's name do we undermine the ridiculously false image many people have of this guy? Do we have to bait him over and over and get McCain himself to show his true colors on live TV? Short of that, I'm coming up empty.

I want someone who's embarrassingly superior to me."

Jesus, every time he utters that phrase I cringe, but I do believe I'm going to adopt it for my discussions with potential McCain supporters.

As for undermining the ridiculously false image many people have of this guy, I think there are many tools at our disposal, including God knows how many photos of him embracing people the American people have come to distrust.

And I think that as he travels the country we should make it a point to confront him, politely, about his refusal to wear a flag pin, and his refusal to salute the troops.
