  •  Once again, wisdom (none)
    from McJoan.
A few years back I worked for a moderate republican candidate (yes, I am a whore, but he was also a pleasant neighbor who knew I was a campaign professional and asked me nicely) and the biggest, most fatiguing thing about his campaign was that he didn't know what he was for. He could articulate quite nicely what he was against, but the for part eluded him.
Being against something is fueled by anger. being for something means being fueled by hope. It makes all the difference in the world.

    •  thanks, but credit goes (none)
to an as yet unnamed DFA blogger, via NYCO, to my diary. So I'm just passing all your praise and 4s onto to the Deanosphere.
