I got a call from a HRC support who was calling on behalf of a nursing association and very proud of the fact that the Nurses were endorsing Clinton -- a first for them -- because of her great health care plan.  I told her I wasn't a Clinton supporter and she also responded "oh, your not a democrat?".  Of course I'm a democrat, I replied, how do you think you got my number.

She then went on to elaborate on the great things that Clinton would do for me with 'her' health plan.  Let me talk, she said, and then you can ...

Finally, I lost patience.  I had the feeling this woman would have kept talking all night, about something I never expressed interest in.

I'm not voting for a health plan, I said, I'm voting for a president.  And I'll never forgive her for her vote to go to war... and the woman hung up.

I was furious.  And I was equally furious the next day watching Clinton gloat over her 'triumph'.  Just like her to come into my state (and home) and drum up support by exploiting differences.  Insulting, pandering, anything buy uplifting.

The opposite of love is not hate; it's indifference.
