    Not surprising that the pollsters with (R) after their name such as Insider Advantage would favor Clinton. they presumably use voter screen models that de-emphasize Obama's core voting groups and over-emphasize right-leaning voters

      the general lean toward Clinton comes from a conservative stance -- but not in the political sense.  My guess is that the model used by many of the pollsters emphasizes the same voters who have turned out in previous elections and doesn't account for enthusiasm among younger voters or newly registered voters.

        I do not know how many people I know that no longer have a home phone, just a cell phone.  I think it is hard for many of these pollsters to get anyone, but an older crowd to poll and many of those folks are more conservative / establishment.
