  •  Exactly. Make the 'Thugs spend money there... (0+ / 0-)

...and help the down-ticket races, especially the governor's race.

But let's not get too cocky here. Obama is almost certainly not going to win Indiana in the GE. I spent the first 22 years of my life there, and it is a redneck, Republican state overall and always has been.

That said, I do think Obama may very well give McCain a serious fight there, and that'll force McCain to spend more time and money dealing with Indiana than he otherwise would.

That's a big part of why the 50-state strategy is such a winner for the Democrats. Especially with a contribution magnet like Obama at the top of the ticket. Bleed McCain dry by making him fight for states that the GOP never needs to even think about.

Death by a thousand cuts, baby! (Or, at least death by FIFTY cuts.) ;^)

    •  BusCo is a radical, not a Republican. (0+ / 0-)

Real Republicans know this Administration has damaged them and all of us.  First of all Republicans object to the debt he has spent on this tragic quagmire of an occupation in two nations, even though they may not object to military adverturism.
