    It doesn't say what this journal claims it says.  Indeed, the quote in context is about how the Clinton administration should have been more aggressive against Bin laden and North Korea earlier.

    If anything, I think these statements help McCain.

      and don't read it that way at all ... it seems to me that McCain was equating the importance of going after bin Laden and all the other national security issues (foremost, Iraq) ... while there was clearly a difference in the order of importance in which the US should have been handling all this ... nevertheless, don't see quote at all where as you say "how the Clinton administration should have been more aggressive against Bin laden".

      these quotes have to be looked at in the context of what and WHEN McCain said them ...
