      Here's some more information about the song the clue is based on (including the full text of the poem the song is based on).

      And here (if I've done this correctly) is a YouTube of the song.

      I was surprised to see that the song dates back only to the 1970s.  I remember hearing it performed back then, but for some reason had always thought it dated back to the days of the suffragists. But apparently it is only the poem which dates back to the early 1900s; the song is of more recent vintage.

      Either way, it's a lovely song, well worth the listen both for the tune and the lyrics.
