The NRCC ran hard with that angle in special House elections in two deep-red districts, and lost 'em both.  It's a popgun issue.

    •  how is that relevant? (0+ / 0-)

Obama wasn't running in those districts.  The republicans ran crummy candidates who deserved to lose.  That's why they lost.

Obama will be running in the fall.  We will see a lot more of Mr. Wright.

Everything I say to you is a lie. Even this.

In both races, the NRCC strategy was to tie the Democrat as closely as they could to Obama, with attack ads prominently featuring Wright.  They were essentially trial balloons for a potential fall strategy.  Both were + double digits red districts, and the Democrat won both.  There's zero evidence suggesting Wright will have an effect on Obama's electoral success, and pretty good evidence suggesting it won't.

I'm afraid your personal opinion isn't enough to scare me in the face of contradictory data.

try and tie Wright to some random House member.

It just doesn't make much sense.

It makes a lot of sense to tie Wright to Obama.

Do you listen to conservative talk radio?  They talk about this a lot.  They would chain the two physically together if they could.

Conservative talk radio isn't a great indicator of what brings electoral success at the moment, you know.  If that's the source on which you're basing your ideas, you ought to throw away your radio.

The 30% will vote how they vote; screw 'em, they're on the ropes.
