are you playing?  You feel that Obama's campaign has not been against age?  You feel that his next one (assuming he has a chance and not enough people mind prejudice and terrorist friends) will be against age but only because - - - McCain is a Republican?  That he is ok with the old, as long as they vote for them?  That the fact that many Ron Paul supporters have voted for Obama means that they recognize he has nothing in common with them and that he will continue to pay for the old and weak whatever they are doing?  That his health plan is good because it allows people to pay for their health or to starve, take your pick?

But I forget, as with others your view is that the only identity politics that count are who your support and/or if you are a Democrat.  You can qualify under either criterion, or both, but are out if you do something else.

By the way, where do the bitter people fit?  And that was not identity politics by Obama.  I guess not, from your perspective.

But yes, I will say that the only identity politics that matters to me is whether or not you vote for the democrat. That's my identity. It's a big circle, nothing temporal or genetic excludes anyone from it, but not universal.
