    ... but not to that extent. I'm in a powerball state and I've pondered this question for some time. I suspect that the underlying reason is that the pingpong balls are not quite the same in manufacture; like anything else, there is a bit of variation. If one of the balls in the set happens to be a statistical outlier (in weight, for example) that could indeed bias its selection probability.

    The best thing to do is to try and take advantage of the situation.

    If you don't stand for something, you'll stand for anything.

      ...they use three separate sets of balls. And probably intermix them, like white group 1 and gold group 3.
