  •  No, WE can't (3.27)
Not our yob, man. If you think you can help John Kerry get elected by bitching about his campaign on this board, you are an idiot, or a wanker.

Get this through your head: You are not a fucking chief. You are an indian. You are not the fucking queen bee. You are a drone.

Now get out there and do your fucking job.

    And shut your fucking pie-hole.

This is not the place. Like I said earlier, if you think you've got a good idea, e-mail the campaign. If you think it's necessary to hash it out here, you're wrong.

Time's a-wastin', and it doesn't help Kerry get elected, it just feeds your ego.

There shouldn't be any thought police around here. It's one thing to say we shouldn't have pessimists, which I agree with. Pessimists bring down morale, they lower enthusiasm, and that ultimately depresses our activism in getting Kerry elected.

But at the same time, I think it is perfectly okay to admit when something isn't working, offer advice on how to fix it, and discuss why one approach is better than another.

We can't just follow the leader like drones, we're fucking American voters with a stake in the outcome of this election. Already some of our advice has helped the candidate. If we simply bow down to whatever Kerry is doing then we're not helping him run the best campaign possible.

On dKos, only Kos is the "Chief" and he's a benevolent dictator (very laissez-faire).

"Out there," you are right, we are Indians.

On dKos no one coerces me as to what to do or say. And I have no coercive influence. "Out there" I fall in line and do as I'm told for the campaign.

Methinks that many are confusing "dKos" with "out there," (although understandable as the line may be becoming blurier).
