    Is an unmarried woman who made it on her own. She's considered one of the best governors in the union. If her personal life doesn't reveal any controversy, and if she can avoid being marketed (smeared) as lesbian (though I wish we were at a place where that would be a plus!), then she's got serious upsides. She was born and raised in New Mexico, she's a popular governor of Arizona, she went to law school in Virginia, she was Anita Hill's lawyer (which would give her some recognition), she's strong on immigration reform, she's fiscally responsible, and she's only 50.

    As it is, she was one of the "08 in 2008" women that was considered as a viable woman candidate for president.

    Obviously, two "unknown" candidates on the same ticket would be a tough sell no matter what. But I like her bio.
