Ignoring the idiotic reasons to vote against Obama (he's a cryto-Muslim cokehead, blah-blah-blah) the most REASONABLE concerns I see being voiced by REASONABLE people in the middle and leaning Right are:

    1.) Lack of practical experience.
2.) Lack of Military or geo-political experience.

I'm not saying the accusations are necessarily correct or even fair -- but they do reflect current and (again) REASONABLE concerns.  They need to be dealt with decisively early on.  McCain is absolutely certain to claim a monopoly on "military" insight.  Not only is this his most logical attack, but it also happens to be about the ONLY thing McCain can cling to -- so it is an inevitable attack.

It only makes sense to be prepared for it.

For my money, that means someone like Clark or Webb.

(And, frankly, as I stated elsewhere, I give a slight nod to Clark because he strikes me as a powerful statesman who's perfectly happy to take a back seat as VP; it would be an OBAMA administration, with input from Clark).
