  •  Project for a New American Century, circa 1998. (6+ / 0-)

All this was laid out before Bush took office by the neocons who came up with the Project for a New American Century (PNAC).  Bush was elected to go into Iraq.  And he did (along with pushing about every other conservative wet dream he could . . . Star Wars, death tax, gay marriage ban, brown people, you name it).

Bill Kristol hung out on the dole at PNAC until he got his recent Wall Street Journal gig.  And now, PNAC's website is "suspended."  No more.  Poof.  Gone.  See, "This Account Has Been Suspended.  Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible," HERE.

Bush has operated under the "easier to ask forgiveness than permission."   Except he doesn't give a s**t forgiveness.  Because he's done what he was told to do - by those who put him in office - and who told him that he was "The Man" for not being the wimp his Daddy was.  And what he's done can be undone.  But it's not going to be for the faint of heart.  But remember:  it can be done.  Si, se puede.
