I am over 50, was a feminist before it was cool, etc etc, who respects Hillary Clinton and campaigns for Obama.

    Here goes:

Women, like the many gays who strongly back Clinton, have nowhere else to vote except Obama.  There is no comparison to McCain.  They will complain, they will take their time, but they will vote for Obama.  Freedom of Speech can also be defined as Right to Complain.

Obama will help this along by continuing to speak admiringly of Clinton and other strong, Democratic women.  (His supporters would be wise to do the same.)  We will see several of these women speaking at the national convention in key spots of honor.  We will see advance publicity of several of these women being given places of importance in the 2009 Democratic posse.

    And life will go on.

I wish I were as confident about GLBT.  I do not have the numbers, but how many openly GLBT does Obama have on his campaign staff?  I would like to see some commitment on his part there.
