    Republicanism does not = fascism.

    But our current government, if not already "fascist" by definition, possesses enough qualities of what is formally recognized as fascism to raise serious concern.

    The notion that 2008 Democratic platforms are "communist" in any way is laughable.

    There's no equivalence here.  At all.  Not close.

      Many, many people in America were actually card-carrying communists.  When they started really getting demonized they did move into the Democratic party.

      So, I would say that there are many elements of communist thought in the Democratic party even today.

      But, "communism" is not Soviet dictatorship.  That's where people get confused.
