    Ok, I am always against using fascism/Nazis to defame modern American politicians. It's silly, it's useless, it's offensive. Republicans aren't Nazis. Thank God.

    So my point will be narrow in scope.

    Who the HELL in his office was doing policy research on Hitler's pre-dictatorship, parliamentary energy policies? How obscure is that? How does that factoid even HAPPEN?

    Why were they reading that particular book?

    The more you think about how this statement happened, the more the black humor races out to greet you.

      that mention Hitler (and being wrong to boot) to support your ideas  is THE better argument for them. IIRC in the 20' Germany suffered hyper-inflation and a its currency was worthless of course they had to look inward for energy, they didn't have the money to paid for foreign oil.

      And by the way if you are committed to a war of annihilation it makes absolute sense to use up all your resources, cost is not an issue and the future generations could suck a&*
