    ... that Russert had the power to move the discussion away from Rev. Wright or any other snowballing story, as all the major cable networks covered it on a daily basis? He's on once a week, and in a highly competitive industry. If you want him to host an NPR-style show that is ahead of the curve, then that's fine. NBC can let him go to NPR to do that and find someone else to attract large numbers of viewers for their flagship political program.

    Of course, none of this has anything to do with the diary, which claims that Russert had a partisan bias against Democrats -- and finds 55% support at Kos for that position -- despite overwhelming evidence that he trapped politicians on both sides of the aisle with regularity.

    I get the feeling you could run an "Is Keith Olbermann biased towards Democrats" poll and get 80% support for "hell no, he's biased towards the truth!".
