...of a blog is to serve as a vehicle for, first and foremost, the election of a candidate, then yes, you're right.  They should turn on a dime, declare the prior orthodoxy "inoperative" and become cheerleaders.  There's a term for such people - propagandists.  That is, ultimately, not TalkLeft's purpose.  Primarily, it's to represent the views (political and legal) of its creator  and the co-bloggers whom she has invited to share the space with her.  Whether you or I agree with their take(s) on the primary season (Jeralyn and Armando didn't always agree), I'd rather see them continue to write what they believe and be intellectually honest.  The world doesn't need Yet Another Hack Propaganda Blog, nor the unconvincing assurance from TalkLeft that indeed, we really have always been at war with Eastasia.

did you eve try to make an important decision rationally right after a balls to walls argument with your significant other?

b/c you can't we all try to be sensible and rational afterwards but our nerves are still frayed and our words come back to hunt us.

Ths dems need to steal a page from JMC 2000 run, yes him and his family  was smeared, but the supported the  GOP nominee, I am sure that his supporters were livid but the fell in line, without it Gore would have won easily the EV.

The folks at talk left will grieve for a while about the process, but the fact of the matter is that JMC is so different of what they want as a president compared to BHO that eventually they will support him enthusiastically.

I didn't get back to this thread fast enough to nominate it for Top Comments, but I wanted to say "thank you" for explaining SCOTUS' habeas ruling.
