    Not likely, there hasn't been much in the way of serious polling in the Senator's home state, which re-elected Democrat Janet Napolitano two years ago by an overwhelming margin, and in which John Kyl, Arizona's other Republican Senator, came within eight percentage points of losing his seat.

    Obama was polling twelve points behind McCain in May, but that number will certainly shrink as his party continues to unite behind him.  A bigger problem for McCain is that that Arizonans may have had their fill of all his different incarnations, and his identity in the national media doesn't seem to match the local one.  Obama could--and should--give him hell in his home state.
