    but I still enjoy debating with jr high kids. They are just beginning to really question and analyze things and it's fun to hear them think out loud.  I've often had to play devil's advocate and take a position that is not my own.  That whole exercise keeps us all sharp.  We have to discuss and refine our arguments in a setting that is quite different from that in which we lead ours daily lives.  That makes us better thinkers, better advocates for what we really believe.

    I realize that this is more the ideal situation.  It's easier to lead younger kids than college students.  Still, I think it's a valuable process at any age.
