I found some fairly recent financial info about "Focus on the Family". Dobson's very good at getting the superstitious to open their wallets for him: (numbers are in THOUSANDS)

    Revenue & Expenses 2006 2005 2004 2003
    Total Contributions $129,739 $125,503 $126,531 $118,263
    Total Other Revenue $12,539 $12,345 $10,079 $9,711
     TOTAL REVENUE $142,279 $137,848 $136,611 $127,974

Yes, that's right $129,739,000.00 in contributions in 2006.

I don't mind straight people as long as they act gay in public.

Dobson's "message", who send in dollars they can ill afford!

Once knew someone who discovered their elderly auntie was doing w/o comforts of life to donate to a bloodsucking televangelist! Need I add that they went ballistic at that news?!

      Aloha   ..  ..  ..

How can you tell your granny that she already bought 'bricks" for that damned church??  That Falwell was a used car salesman of a  preacher and lived awfully well while old ladies went without new hoses or teabags.

If we want peace, why do we give weapons and call it "aid"?
