Contiguity: As the maps show: Palestine within the West Bank would enjoy territorial contiguity, which is what is meant when that phrase is used. The two parts of Palestine, the West Bank and Gaza, would be connected by a right-of-way under Palestinian administration and Israeli sovereignty.

Economic viability: Assuming peace with Israel, there's every reason for Palestine to be viable economically. It will enjoy an infusion of educated people and capital, and will be able to serve as a go-between for Israel and the Arab world.

Complete independence v. conditional: I'm not sure what you're asking.

Water supply: I don't know the details, but a study under the auspices of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University showed that water should not be an obstacle to peace. Among other things, improving infrastructure to avoid waste, elimination of water subsidies for Israeli agriculture, and the like are completely affordable solutions.
