  •  Nope (0+ / 0-)

according to Israeli law, both are legal.  Which is why Israel would never "giving the Gallilee Arabs back to a future Palestine".. and why Israel just isn't moving out of Ariel.. People who think so are just smoking crack--which is why its a worthless diary.

        •  So you want to partition Israel, (0+ / 0-)

hiving off parts of the country where Arabs (Palestinians) live?

And how do you expect to achieve such a settlement? Peacefully? Or by never-ending brute force?

If the Palestinians don't agree, will you withdraw unilaterally from "where the Palestinians live?"

If not, what will you do if and when the Palestinians -- in whose number for these purposes I include Israeli Arabs -- become a majority west of the Jordan River?

          •  Self-determination (0+ / 0-)

I'd offer the Israeli Arabs living in today's Israel self-determination.  If they want to stay part of Israel, they have an open invitation.  If they do not, they're welcome to leave.  How to achieve such a settlement?  Its basically the status quo--I mean it takes a lot less force to say "you're not part of the country where you live" than to start physically relocated citizens like they were lego blocks.  As I think the majority west of the Jordan issue is a red herring.  Arabs are already a majority in the area south of the Meditteranian or in the Levant region or by almost every other geographical measure.  There aren't many Jews out there and we've got a small sliver or land in which to live.
