    My personal favorite quote is on page 28, "Constitutionally-inspired deference to the executive branch is not the same as constitutional law."  That sums it all up.

    Judge Walker's opinion needs to get in front of the Senators ASAP, especially Obama.

    The judge has been working on these cases for over two years now.  If he thought FISA needed "modernization" he could have so indicated in his opinion.  This shows that the law works fine the way it is.  

    I'm fairly confident that this will get the Senate vote on immunity called off or delayed.  If it doesn't, we will file new lawsuits challenging the legislation.

      I read it as a very strong rebuke of what this Congress has allowed to happen in the past seven years, and what it's about to do.

      I wish I could share your confidence that this will delay the vote. My hope is that it turns th3 60 votes we need for Bingaman's amendment to pass, which would essentially scuttle the big decisions until next year.
