  •  Does McCain have a problem with LYING? (7+ / 0-)

He lies about his adulterous affair and he now has lied about his POW experience when he told the Pittsburgh media that he had talked about the Pittsburgh Steelers when he was in captivity but in actuality it was the Green Bay Packers.

So?  This reminds me of the Obama Aushwitz/Buchenwald mix up.

      •  Absolutely NOT the same (6+ / 0-)

It appears that Obama may have been told from family lore that his great uncle helped to liberate Aushwitz.  Obama has never told the story one way and then another way some where else.

McCain, on the other hand, has told this story MANY TIMES with it always being the Green Bay Packers except for this last time.

Now either McCain is pandering thus lying for political expediency to the Pittsburgh media or McCain's senility is setting in.

I relate a story my Grandpa tells me and I get one name wrong. And it isn't a critical name – they were both concentration camps.

Flip McFlop writes a book. Proof-read and edited and it's a key story that he refers too often (too often).

Then, amazingly, when in Pittsburgh he re-tells the story changing the Offensive line of the Super Bowl '67 Packers to the great "D-Line" of the Steelers. Doh. The Steelers GREAT D-Line is from 1972...the first year they were great was the year he was released from prison (the '73 season starts after his release).

Maybe the Bush/Rove machine was right when they accused  Flip McFlop of selling out the other POWs so he could get his tea and crumpets and the Pittsburgh newspapers so he could follow his "favorite" team.

I think he suffered in prison, but for Republicans, when he wasn't Bush's butt-boy he was a traitor-sell-out.

Do knee pads come with the W '04 stickers 'cause it looks like you just earned enough points from the Flip McFlop blogorators to buy some replacements for those four-year-old puppies.

        •  My sports memory is hazy too (0+ / 0-)

My stories of the great Red Sox rises (and falls) of the 1970s or hte Celtics domination in the 80s usually omits a key Yankees or Lakers game or two.  And I have trouble recalling Michael Jordan's point total against my beloved Celtics in the 1986 playoffs.
